Capricorn

Mighty Jaxx and Threadless held a contest to design a character (to be printed on t-shirt & made into vinyl toy), so I decided to give it a shot. I redraw my old drawing, and add more details. The katakana letter "カプリコン" is read as "Kapurikon", here's the story about the character:

"Caprice, a female goat for an animal experimentation, managed to escape from a laboratory somewhere in a small island in Japan. But while escaping, she fell into the sea of nuclear waste, causing her to mutated into a giant beast. Some people would call this monster as "Capricorn", because of her half fish and half goat appearance. Curious scientists trying to lure her, but the time has come….she will avenge!"

Merch Designs

Unidentified Unicellular Organisms: 1-50

This coming Thursday supposed to be the 7th week of my ongoing "Unidentified Unicellular Organisms" project, but I ran out of sketch book and drawing pen. I made 2 more drawings, I've drawn 50 organisms so far. I'll finish the 7th week after I buy new art supply, and I'll post it on the 8th week. Below is the result, 48 organisms from 1st to 6th week + 2 organisms from 7th week. Also enjoy the music video, I guess it's still relevant to this post.

Unidentified Unicellular Organisms pt. 01

This is an ongoing project, everyday I will try to draw one or two 'unexisted' organism(s) and by the end of the week I'll scan them. I've always been interested by biology drawings, especially unicellular organisms. I just started last Friday, so the scanned versions will be updated hopefully every Thursday. You can check the progress on my instagram account @capricornea13, I'm thinking to make about 100 organisms, or even more.

Bloody English font

Bloody English font was an unfinished project, I made this font around 2011. Hand drawned and vectorized, the basic shape is from Old English font. I decided to share it on my blog, you can download the font and vector format here. Please note that the font version is not finalized yet, I still have to re-set the kerning / space between numbers and letters. I would recommend you to use the vector format instead, so you can set the spacing manually.

Just finished these small drawings, drawing pen on A6 paper. Baat and Gaat, the lurkers of the night. Not my usual theme, but its always good to make something different.

Brain Slug

My friend Mike Morfoot a.k.a Monsterfoot Creations asked me to make an artwork and design for his new toy release called "Brain Slug", he's also doing a sculpt of my Nagball tribute drawing right now! You can see the progress of the Brain Slug sculpt below:

Here's the illustration and logo type that I made (drawing pen on A4 paper), the layout and color adjustment will be done in Photoshop. I'm thinking to make it looks like a horror B-movie poster, with vibrant colors and such.

Recent Interviews

First post in 2014, I've done a couple interviews recently and I guess its a good way to start 2014!
